Meet the Groomer
My name is Heather Fisher, I started building A Purr-fectly Woof-tastic Spa with my husband Justin in 2016. We have 6 furr-babies ourselves, five dogs (Missy 12, Emma 10, Rocky 9, Gremelin 8, Ezmae 7), and one cat (Feisty 11). My passion for taking care of animals, both my own and others fur-babies, began when I was young growing up on the neighbors dairy farm. In 2004 I completed the Sno-Isle Tech Skills Center's Veterinary Assisting and Grooming Program, from this while still in High School I began my career as a bather; an assistant to the groomer. As my career progressed so did my interest in grooming and working with talented groomers. While I learned a lot working with these groomers and already learned a lot of grooming on the job, I had a desire to learn new skills. In 2014 I completed my formal grooming education at Animal Behavior College. Through Animal Behavior College I also studied Pet Massage, Cats, Nutrition and First Aid/CPR. I believe continuing to improve my skills and techniques are a very important part of caring for you fur-babies, which is why you will find me annually at the Northwest Grooming Expo, attending seminars, watching grooming competitions, and next year hopefully even competing in the grooming competitions. After a lifelong love for working with animals and over 12 years experience in the grooming field I am excited to offer these skill to the public, with the options of you coming to me, or I will bring my mobile grooming unit to you and groom your fur-baby in the comfort of your own driveway!
When I am not grooming you can find me chasing around my three two legged babies, KC Marie 5, Joseph 3 and Elijah 1.
